What we collect
You can practice as a guest or sign in with Google. Guest profile details (nickname, country, and preferred sharp/flat notation) and recent training results are kept in this browser. If you sign in, we receive your Google account identifier and email through Supabase authentication. We store the nickname, country, notation preference, training results, question attempts, scores, and derived progress needed to provide your account and game features.
How we use it
We use account information to sign you in and associate your results with your profile. We use training results to show progress, scores, and recommendations. We do not use your Google contacts, Drive, or other Google account content. We do not sell your personal information.
World Domination rankings
World Domination requires a signed-in account. Your nickname, country, category, run score, and survival result may appear on public rankings; participation has no private-ranking option. Your email and ordinary practice history are not displayed there. Humm It rankings are marked unverified because microphone analysis stays on your device.
Microphone
Humm It requests microphone permission so your browser can analyze pitch locally. Raw microphone audio is not uploaded or stored by Pitchin'Perfect. We may save derived results, such as detected pitch, cents difference, confidence, response time, and score, as part of a signed-in training session or ranking run. You can revoke microphone permission in your browser or device settings.
Storage and service providers
The site uses browser storage for guest details, recent local sessions, preferences, and sign-in state. Google provides sign-in; Supabase provides authentication and account data storage; Vercel hosts the website. These providers may process technical information required to deliver their services. We do not currently run a separate advertising or analytics tracker in the app.
Your choices and deletion
You can edit your nickname, country, and notation in Settings. You can reset personal training progress from Progress, but that reset does not delete your account or past public World Domination rankings. Browser-stored guest data can also be removed by clearing this site's browser storage. For an account-data or public-ranking deletion request, email us using the address below. We retain account data until it is deleted or the account is removed, subject to operational backups and applicable requirements.
